    Why? Do you wanna buy a sofa from DFS, self assembly flat pack wardrobes from MFI, DIY stuff from B&Q, or carpets? Because they'll be the only places guaranteed to be open on a Bank Holiday - nobody else is stupid enough to open then, nor people stupid enough to go shopping until then. Having said that, more and more places are opening on Bank Holidays. About half of town was open on Boxing Day. *shakes head in despair* :no:

    Depends on where you intend shopping. Big towns will probably be open, especially the big well known shops....I think :)
