in the industrial revolution manchester and then other cities started to expand at an alarming rate ...the big fear was disease in such overcrowded conditions ...at one point manchester and a city in china were the two fastest expanding and most overcrowded and filthy hell holes on earh ...why didn't the expected epedemics happen?

tea is an internal disefectant and ...it was so popular in both these citys that it meant most of the population were boiling the water before drinking it ...amazing aye!

Personally i'm a big fan of a nice bit of Guatemalan coffee. To me, it's not as harsh as Columbian.
Okay, back to tea - if it's not Twinings, I don't drink it. I carry round a few spare bags with me, just in case.

Sometimes there's nothing better than a nice cup of tea and a sit down.
And sometimes there's nothing better than the finest blends of coffee straight from my rather funkeh coffee machine.

coffees vile, i do drink green tea, dont like the fruit ones taste too manufactured. a cup of tea will always brighten me up, strong, nearly stewed with only a splash of milk and no sugar!
