Story Things going just as smoothly as last time I see. This election really needs UN observers.

58,000 out of 60,000 though? In a Democratic stronghold...doesn't sound suspicious to you does it?
Why would the UK need UN inspectors to ensure a fair and democratic election?
something that has been broadcast over and over on all our tellys ...i'd bet you were glued to your screen at the time ...bet you didn't turn away.
I read the other day that there are about 60 UN advisers going to observe the US elections.
if i was telling lies i would find it offensive
Offensive? Hardly, it's a film we've all seen dozens of time
Why you playing about with animated thingys rolly? You learnt something new?!
It has them.
Sadly though they are not "monitors" - who could intervene if necessary.
That said, it's not just Florida which is interesting (although I understand that this is where the UN team are concentrating) but Ohio sounds suspect too. Except in favour of the Democrats...
What are the observers actually doing then?
Observing.
The will report after the election but they are not permitted to intervene even if they see a serious breach. They also reported after the last election and called the Florida aspect into question (much like most of us did)...
Ok...surely it would be better if something was being breached (and most likely is) for them to be able to do something.
