Is it one of those situations where someone stands up and says "I am monocrat!"

    (slight pause...)

Then someone else stands up and declares "No! I am monocrat!"

    (split seconds later...)

The masses are declairing that they are all monocrat.

    Pipe dreams eh :)

    Who is monocrat anyway

No difference that I can see - anyways, I'm not monocrat, I don't know monocrat ..............

    I've got an idea though.

Why don't we all start again, stop with all the paranoioa and CT stuff and see if we can get a good debate going?

Personally, I find it hard to see Michael Moore in the same light as an ex-American friend of mine, but he leads me to believe that MM is doing an important job in persuading many working class Americans to go back to the ballot - in part through a tour, funded through the movie.

In fact, the Republicans in Michigan tried to get him arrested for bribing people to vote with underwear.......
Michael Moore claims that over 100,000 young people recently registered to vote in Michigan.

Obviously Moore hopes that they will vote for Kerry, by asking those at the event to repeat a 2004 Slacker Oath "Pick nose! Pick butt! Pick Kerry"

I don't for one minute however, think that Kerry is any better than Bush...............

So, what next for MM then?

IF Kerry gets in, and is "more of the same", what do you think we can expect from MM?

    (and please don't say Nader......)

...but I do think that everybody should have a snatch at this movie. This is a defining moment in history IMHO. Watch it yourself and then decide

Has it ever occurred to you that if people react in the same way around you, that it might be something that you are doing?

Personally, I don't think all the hostility is very nice........

    :)

Aye I've seen it, and 'Bowling for C', and 'Roger and me' - it certainly gave me pause for thought, and I thought the scene with Bush addressing the dinner (towards the end) was gobsmacking. Theres no doubt that he has a knack for producing movies that entertain and inform, but I'm not sure where he is going with his political analysis. One thing I do think is that he avoided the Israel question completely ............

The next movie coming up in that genre seems to be The Corporation

I saw the trailer when I went to see Supersize me, and it looked promising.

    Hehehe :D

    Nader!

    Only kidding :)

I don't know free...I reckon that the moore fella is kicking some big fat asses in America at the moment. Also there does seem to be some sort of a definitive polarising effect happening across the US electorate as we speak. Whether Moore has something to do with that or not is only a matter of conjecture. But hell...he aint doing that badly as far as I can see so far.

    Wake up America :p

Over the Israeli question and MM I most certainly agree free. But perhaps the Moore fella may inspire other film makers to undertake so many other situations that really do need addressing. He's an inspiration IMHO. A Pilger with mass appeal

I admire Moore for his tenacity against all that is powerful and greedy...

Let others follow that same age old tradition.

The Corporation looks interesting btw :)

Why don't we ask Michael Moore to fund future film makers...now there's a thought ;)

The Corporation is an excellent and rivetting documentary. Extremely frightening as well.
