ask your orthodontist
Boots also sell wee brushes for doing the finishing touches after regular cleaning. They look pretty good, I just couldn't afford one at the time.
I ment that one. Do you just ask your orthodontist and do they give you one for free?
As for flossing, it's something I've never quite got the knack of, so I use some flossers and combined toothpick things from Tesco's that look a bit like mini hacksaws (though a lot of placed do similar things nowadays).
The problem with electric toothbrushes is that when you've had your brace tightened your teeth are extremely tender and using an electric toothbrush hurts like a b*tch. I have an electric toothbrush for when my brace hasn't been tightened recently, and although it does work pretty well, there's still those wee awkward bits between your teeth and under the wire that are difficult to reach with the electric toothbrush and a whole lot easier with a 'toothpick' style thing, or with a very tiny 'specialised' brush.
Not that it's not a good idea - Sorry if i caused any offence.
