Happy St Patrick's Day🍀 to everyone celebrating!
Did you know that while St Patrick is well known for being the patron saint of Ireland, he is also the patron saint of Nigeria?
In the most famous legend about St Patrick he banishes all the snakes from Ireland, sending them into the sea, though there is no evidence that snakes ever lived in Ireland, according to lots of scientists and historians.
Of course St Patrick's day is now celebrated across the world, particularly by those with Irish heritage. Will you be celebrating at all? Maybe you are wearing green today, or listening to music by an Irish artist - let us know!
