The EU has given more money to Russia since 2022 than they've given to Ukraine

So, the EU has given Ukraine, in total, 193.3 billion euros in aid, since this war began in 2022. The EU have by contrast paid Russia 297 billion euros, directly, for energy, gas, and oil purchases in that same timespan, as well as other imports.

Yes, you heard that right. The EU, since Russia's invasion of Ukraine began, has given Russia €297 billion, and Ukraine €193.3 billion, in total.

They have quite literally given more money to the Russians since their invasion of Ukraine began, than they've actually given to Ukraine. This is money that fuels the Russian war economy, keeps the Russian currency afloat, prevents the financial collapse of Russia, helps to finance the Russian armed forces, and helps to fund their war efforts against Ukraine.

Now, maybe I'm a bit old fashioned, but it seems to me, that the EU are complete and utter twats for this.
