any plans for the new year?

does anyone have any plans for new year's eve and new year itself? as for me and my family we're going to have a new year dinner before counting down to midnight. we do this every year so this has become a family tradition. as for new year's resolutions... yeah, i dont really do them. even if i make one i doubt ill follow through with it as im not really a motivated person. also soon after the new year im gonna have exams so i kinda need to prepare for those. ill make a separate post on that soon.

    On New Year's Eve me and my family are going to have a big dinner and watch the New Year's countdown on BBC 1 and that's pretty much it. On New Year's Day me and my family are apparently going to see an aunt and possibly one of my cousins have and dinner at a pub, I have no idea if that is still happening though because I will be going with my dad who isn't very happy with some people in my family right now. I hope we do go though as I haven't seen my aunt in years and I would like to see them again. I also plan to watch the last episode of Stranger Things, Stranger Things season 5 has been fine so far but I am hoping for a satisfying ending to the show and not an ending that made me feel like I wasted my time watching it, also Heartstopper will finally get some more pages after weeks of waiting so I plan to read those when they release.

    I'm having a pretty chill New Years this year. I'm on a mission to try and finish the book I'm reading by New Years Day and I have 352 pages to go so it'll be a lot of reading, a KFC and then some chocolatey treats as we have so much left over from Christmas!

    And then New Years Day will be my last day working on Community so I imagine I'll be spending most of the day here on the boards!
