Hey Toffuna, i understand how you feel about this, I’ve been there with my CP too. May I ask, what makes you wish that you didn’t have CP. sending you hugs 🤗

I really get that. CP comes with so many life challenges. Activities and general life experiences are a lot harder too. It’s not easy, medical conditions never are 😢. It’s something we can never get rid of, but we can use it to challenge us. When I was younger, I was a cadet. I got discriminated, excluded from activities, but at the end of the day I challenged myself to do many things and it got recognised. This is something that didn’t come easy for me at all, but I slowly worked my way up. I came from not being able to talk and walk, to now being able to do those things and more. I know it’s not just the CP that comes to a challenge for us, but society too. And it can weigh heavy on us. So when you say that you wish you didn’t have it because of that reason, I get that, I truly do ❤️. I want to say, that you’ve got this. You are brave, and an incredible human being. You’re going through something that is not easy and going through challenges that are a lot harder for you. But don’t let that or anything/anyone let you down because of your CP. You can do anything, but we just have to go through a different route and that’s ok. You will have those days where it’s hard to get out of bed, hard to walk and get so easily tired and frustrated because of your CP. (I’ve had many of those days) But you can use CP for many positive things too.

I’m an adult now, it’s not any easier but I’m still trying. And that’s what counts. I’ve come a long way, and you can and are going a long way too. You’re not alone. I’ve always said to myself and others, Cerebral Palsy is nothing to be ashamed about, it’s something to embrace. It took me a while to believe that at first, but I got there and you can too ❤️

Hey i hear you @toffuna101 .. having CP, like other conditions and disabilities isn't easy and feels miserable it makes what is "easy" for other people hard but also means you'll have skills that others dont ad what woukd be hard for them is easy for you.
Your unique and this makes you special..I like to think, we are created this way (Different with our disabilities/conditions) for a reason and because we are strong enough to take this challenge on.
