Today's Saturday Topic Thread was all about how to navigate GP visits / Mental and Physically Healthcare appointments.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined!

We had some really lively discussions, with lots of people sharing some really insightful reflections about:
  • Why booking an appointment for mental health support can be daunting and how to tackle this
  • What kind of support you can expect to receive when you speak to a GP about your mental health
  • How to prep and care for yourself in the lead up to an appointment, during, and afterwards
  • The challenges and positives of navigating the UK mental health system, including the NHS, CAMHS, counselling, and the charity sector

We wanted to create a space below where these conversations can continue....

What's your top-tip for navigating mental health appointments?

Got an appointment or a phone-call in the diary that you're nervous for and you'd like to ask your peers for some advice?

Lets jump in below and all support one another!
