I might be cooked (tw suicide, self harm)

Hello Im back again with another thing with the friend and this time I fear this is a whole situation, my friend is still struggling with her mental health and suicidal thoughts and her self harm but this isn't just me who's been caring for her the whole time it was me and my own friend who have been here for her and we were talking about things we can do to help my friend on the bus and we were talking about how tired we were because she keeps refusing help and we've had so many sleepless nights and are both struggling to do our schoolwork and another girl on the bus listened in and went to our friends and switched up the story accusing my own friend of shit talking another one of our friends she wasn't and then that same girl switched up the story again but to someone else saying my friend was making fun of people with depression I can say she was not and would never I know there's not much I or we can do but this is killing us slowly

It sounds like a super tricky situation and I can see why it would feel so hard right now, it sounds like a situation which might feel all-consuming, does that sound right? We want to empower you to feel like you can discuss how exhausted you are with your friend who is in a similar situation, you both are holding a lot right now. I wonder how this situation is impacting you personally Sims, especially with the situation of that girl seemingly spreading some false information?

You deserve to be able to set boundaries and look after yourself as well, and you're doing such a great job with all of this going on!

We're going to DM you to ask a bit more about your friend and their situation if that feels okay!

@Sims you're so amazing and great for helping your friend, Im so sorry they and you are going through that. Boundaries are important too as the above comment is mentioning, it important to make sure your own well-being, life etc is ok too. It is great that you've been helping your friend, you should be so proud of that but you can only do so much. Please encourage your friend to call 999 if they feel unsafe. I also have a link to a helpline you can send to them
