What’s racism? Is it bad? Sorry just never heared of it but it came up on TikTok as 2 people was fighting about it

    Hi River, there’s nothing wrong with asking! Racism is when people face hatred, unfair treatment, or systemic barriers simply because of their race or ethnicity. It can show up in personal beliefs (like stereotypes or prejudice), individual actions (like discrimination or violence), or built-in systems (like laws or policies that favour one group over another). Racism denies equality and dignity based on something as fundamental as a person’s identity and can seriously impact people who face it. I hope this helps!

    Yes @Lili5Bet has explained it perfectly. It is a very bad thing, because people have no control over what colour their skin is. There’s still lots of it about sadly.
