Hey @bignosegirly0 how are you feeling this afternoon? Are you feeling safe?

I read your other post here and what you've shared with us sounds really heavy. Do you feel comfortable sharing when you last attempted to go through with the procedure and if you've had medical attention since?

Here at the Mix we take your thoughts of suicide seriously. We hear you and your feelings are important. We just wanted to let you know that if you did feel at any point that you were going to act on your thoughts of suicide, then we would urge you to call the emergency services on 999, or go to your local A&E department to explain your intentions to them, so that they can support you.

You deserve support with these thoughts bignosegirly so I'll pop some signposts down below:
There's a free mobile app called distrACT, it's available on the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Android). The app gives you easy, quick, and discreet access to information and advice about self-harm and suicidal thoughts. The content has been created by doctors and experts in self-harming and suicide prevention. You can find out more here https://www.expertselfcare.com/distract/

The National Suicide Prevention Helpline supports anyone 18+ who is experiencing thoughts of suicide. They are there to provide support and listen to your feelings. Their lines are open everyday from 6pm until midnight, offering a safe haven for anyone who needs someone to talk to. You can call them on 0800 689 5652 or 0800 689 0880. Staying Safe is an organisation that is designed to help you stay safe from suicidal thoughts but they are unable to provide individual support or advice. You can use the tool on their website to create your own safety plan as a way to keep you safe from your suicidal thoughts. This includes ways of getting you through how you are feeling and ways you can make your situation safer. To help keep you safe, the website is https://stayingsafe.net/

it sounds like a really tricky working environment to navigate, especially with conversations like that happening around you and i'm so sorry to hear it lead to you attempting. but i'm glad you are still here with us and hopefully that counsellor gets back to you soon. it's good to see you making these steps to improve your mental health again - i'm so proud of you.
