managing money

hi so ever since i used a debit card for the first time id like to learn how to manage my money. i have some money left over from when i was at the cinema yesterday and thats when i used my debit card. the odeon luxe cinema near me doesnt accept cash unfortunately and im sure its like that for every other odeon in the country too. so i inevitably had it use it. does anyone know where i can learn preferably for free? i looked at openlearn and the courses they do in terms of personal finance and they do a course on how to manage your money for young adults and its an introductory course however its 24 hours long and you have to be quite consistent with each of the lessons. what i mean by that is that they recommend you to do it weekly instead of in all in one go which i dont think is possible. therefore i want to find something else that is shorter and that i can do in one sitting. id also like for it to be online.

the reason why im asking is because im going into college in september to study business so it would give me a good stepping stone in the personal finance segment of the course. additionally i dont want to be the type of person who spends all of their money in one go anymore. i know this is bad in me saying this but i dont want to be like my aunt who is basically babysat by their younger sister aka my mum by her controlling my aunt's finances because she spends it all on alcohol. fortunately for me i wont start drinking alcohol because im on antidepressants and antipsychotics but i know that i can spend the remaining money that i have on shopping or something. my aunt doesnt live with us by the way, she lives in the neighbouring town.

so yeah id like to learn how to manage my money. please provide me with any links or providers in this thread if you manage to find or know anything.
