Hey @eylah im free to talk for a bit if you need it
hey @Lottie5433
How are you, ive been reading this thread and it seems like you've been going through alot. Sending hugs if your comfy ❤️🫂
Im trying to keep my fluids up but i just dont feel thirsty so im not drinking alot.
I hear how tiring it has been, is there anything you can do as a bit of a distraction. But im here if you need anyways ❤️
What I’ve found has helped me with drinking more water is always having a full bottle by my bed, in the car, wherever I sit really. And replacing some of my coffees with glasses of water. It’s massively helped, I get less headaches because of it.
@independent_ atleast you have your appetite.
Staying hydrated is fair enough. Hopefully you get well really soon.
How are you doing today? I’m glad your course went well, definitely 100% avoid comparing yourself to other people. Everyone’s on their own path in life aren’t they and that woman could just have been lucky
@independent_ true but yh healthy better than nothing definitely.
Im ok thanks, everyone there I think are in similar positions maybe some a bit younger 16 17 but some my age too early 20s, I'm not like a million miles off even the youngest myself imo because it was just a year before the first lockdown I was 17 myself but yh a bit of time ago, feels like a long time ago too me and a lots changed for the best tbf, just need to get into work and this course should help with that. Anyway sorry for rambling haha.
how you’re feeling is so so valid @Rose113 but i promise you that you’re not at all stupid!
@Rose113 like Shannon said, it’s part of the journey. You are not stupid at all. I always think if someone relapses (I know this has been the case for me) there were so many feelings there and it’s a coping mechanism. You can start the clock again, and any amount of time without it is amazing and something to be proud of. Especially when feelings are big and you’re just looking for a way to escape from them.
Oldie you @independent_ , no I'm joking but yh either way like getting a bit older can have benefits too like maturing next experiances etc. It's just pressuring when we don't feel like where we should be in life but like you said we're all at our own stages etc.
hey eylah, are you ok? we’re all here for you
thankyou. i just woke up from a nap and i feel rly disoriented and rly confused
Im ok @eylah you?
How are you?
I do want to relapse because I need an escape and an outlet but I cant because the place i would do it on is hopefully getting tattooed on thursday so I have to stay clean till then
I feel very overwhelmed to a point im trying to push people away so I dont hurt anyone, but also to the point where every movement i makes, makes me feel dizzy.
But anyways if anyone's up and needs support im here fir a few more hours
@Rose113 That's insanely good marks for maths. Your gonna totally smash it.
And, i know the relapse is gonna make things feel hard and make you feel upset, but the fact that you lasted so long against those urges is something to be proud of. Nobody get's better and overcomes that sort of stuff in one go. It takes time, it's never success instantly. You did amazing this time round, and your gonna do amazing again holding out. Your stronger than you think you are and were all proud of you.
But, sometimes i think about it on the grand scale of life. I see some people who were nothing much until about 30, moved abroad, and started fresh from scratch and built a lot for themselves and a life. At the end of the day, i consider young adult to be 18-32, as does the US census bureau. I still got about 10 years of being young and so do both of you. Plenty of time to figure stuff out. You don't have to have everything worked out or know what your doing in your early 20's.
@independent_ Hope your feeling better. It's usually the first few days which are the worst.
Sorry @DonnerKebab I missed this i never recieved a notification and I crashed coz im shattered
