dead eyes by powfu ft ouse (TW - suicide)

I'm swimming in the ocean of fear
---
Sia moves through the people who talk to each other about her whilst she's in the shops with her dad.
"This is its last day," One member of the public says.
Another chimes in as they're walking past Sia, "Better make it count."
---
Back where I started, no closer each year
---
Tearing up in her room whilst sad music is playing, Sia sits there alone, feeling pathetic for herself, "This is so embarrassing..." She trails off, sniffling, "I haven't made any progress at all within this past year."
---
I think, maybe you'll start to disappear
Standing in a crowd is Sia. Everyone appears to be talking to at least someone except for her. Honestly, she feels like a ghost right now.
---
As I cope with these emotions, I don't wanna get closer, I see
---
"Please give me another chance!" Sia exclaims to the ceiling whilst in her hospital bed, begging for a higher being to give her another chance of life for her to come back.
Sia breaks down into tears as she hugs the nurse, "I want to go back to school again!"
---
Dead eyes on the verge of suicide
---
Sia stares at the mirror and realises that her eye colour has changed from green to grey and brown and starts to freak out.
She stares at the tool she's going to use to try and commit suicide and looks empty. She just wants the pain to be over.
---
I, realize it's not alright
---
Sia widens her eyes as she just had a thought invade her head. What if all of this was her psychosis?
The doctor prescribes Sia with some anti-depressants to help with the suicidal thoughts.
authors note: sia also has anti-psychotics to deal with gertrude aka her and my voice.
---
I'll find my way to idolize it
---
"What if I wrote a book about psychosis?" Sia asks her mentor.
"It's your choice," Her mentor says, "However you seem to be fixated on it."
---
In my eyes, I'll reach the sky
No matter what came her way from now on, Sia would get through the tough times and her mental and physical health conditions don't define her.
