turning 18

i know i still have two years left until i turn 18 but i just wanted to say that there are so many legal changes that come with becoming an adult like being able to have a credit score and going to an adult prison (unless if you go to a young offenders institution for 18-21 year olds but that's a whole other story). im honestly not ready for it and i doubt many people my age are. what's it like being 18? is it scary? do you gain more independence or is it just gradual?

As someone that’s just turned 18 nothing has really changed for me
