hey @toffuna101 it's great that you're on medication and in counselling, and it makes total sense that you’d want to feel prepared in case those difficult thoughts ever come back.

Managing hallucinations and delusions can be really tough <3 I know for some people, grounding techniques can be a helpful first step, and CBT can also be useful for challenging and reframing distorted thoughts. It might be worth discussing these with your counsellor if you haven’t already?

I think it’s always worth keeping your mental health team in the loop if you start feeling off again - they can tweak your treatment or suggest other tools to help. Have you talked to your therapist about putting together a plan in case these thoughts come back?

alright i had a meeting today and my CAMHS counsellor said theyre gonna do CBT. they're meant to do CBTp for psychosis but the staff arent trained in it. i also suggested to do a plan in case things go wrong and CAMHS said that theyre gonna do it with the sixth form team and safeguarding lead.

Hi @toffuna101 it's good news that you managed to get a meeting with your CAMHS counsellor. How do you feel doing the CBT programme rather than the usual CBTp? I am sure they can tailor the treatment to suit your needs. And its good to hear that they are putting contingency plans in place for you.

Let us know how you get on with it <3
