Hi @eylah you're being so brave right now. Just take a moment to yourself. Try and sit somewhere with some fresh air and sip some water if you can. If you are able to, try and count your breathing to slow your heart rate down. Inhale for four, hold for 7 and then slowly exhale for 8. This panic attack will pass- I am here with you through this. And when you feel ready to discuss we can talk about it together. Take all the time you need <3

@eylah it's perfectly normal to feel that pain in your chest during a panic attack. Just take it steady and nice big breaths. I also feel sometimes that closing my eyes and placing a hand on my diaphragm to feel the rise and fall of my lungs helps slow my breathing down. Is there anyone there with you that can be by your side through this?

just my dad @Orchid059 but hes laughing at me rn :/ bc im panicking and crying. ik this is stupid but where is the diaphragm? i want to try this.

@eylah I am so sorry that he is invalidating how you are feeling- you are important and your feelings matter. And no not a silly question at all! The diaphragm is located just underneath the ribs in the centre. I hope this helps in some way <3
