im considering going to university after sixth form, preferably an online university like the open university. i either want to study criminology or psychology.

    That sounds like a really interesting path @toffuna101 to go down!

    Are those your particular areas of interest or is there something specific in those subjects you're really interested in? I was always really fascinated by both and took modules in them at uni myself :)

    @EmLiz im interested in crime prevention and how the prison system works so that we could reduce re-offending. im also interested on how the mind works in psychology.

    @toffuna101 I focussed on similar stuff, often with a public health approach focus and on the origins of prisons and policing!

    If you're interested in reading, I also relatively recently read 'A bit of a Stretch' by Chris Atkins which was really insightful as it's all about his experience of being in prison (he was originally a journalist so kept a diary of sorts). I had a few problems with certain aspects of it if I'm completely honest, but still felt it was well worth a read and talked a lot about how different people's experiences of prison differ
