It’s Trans Day of Visibility so here are three things we can do as trans allies πŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈ

Is there anything you'd add here? πŸ’™

Alt text spoilered:
3 ways we can show up for the trans community right now.

Check on your trans friends.
Lots of trans folk are struggling with their mental health right now so reaching out to them and asking if they need anything goes a really long way. Sometimes people just need to know you're there.

Be an active bystander.
Safely intervene if you see or hear transphobia. Let's call out our peers and co-workers and have conversations with our loved ones about the issues that trans folk are facing. Education can be the best tool for positive change!

Get involved with organisations and campaigns.
Volunteering our time can be a wonderful form of allyship, so get involved in groups working to make the country a safer place for trans folk. There are also lots of trans prides and protests popping up so have a look to see if one is happening somewhere near you!

Another addition: vote! Vote for politicians who advocate for trans and queer rights. If they all suck, vote for the least sucky person, because it might end up mattering. :)
    The truth resists simplicity.
