A little checkpoint

Amy22Amy22 Posts: 4,783 The Mix Elder
Hi I know this is probably a very different post from me but I thought I'd put it here because I felt like it linked more to the neurodiverse thread.

Welcome to the little checkpoint where you can feel free to rest or do anything you please in this small space. Consider it as a little break in the day or wherever you may be to check in with your feelings and emotions. Feel free to spend as little or as long as you need to here until you feel ready to move on with the day ahead. I'm always here too if you do feel like you need someone to talk to.I've attached a video below which has got nature sounds and they reckon that listening to nature sounds can be soothing and calms the brain down.

I also found another video too which can also be watched as well

Feel free to use these if you need to, I hope they are of use to anyone here. As usual have a good week and may it be peaceful and full of compassion.

Sending hugs,

This is such a lovely thread idea @Amy22 <3

The music is so relaxing, I've got it on in the background now :)
Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

Aww thank you @Aife I saw your post on my emails in work and it really made my day. I thought that the music or background ambience could be helpful for some because I know especially whenever you are it can help to ease stress and anxiety. Apparently there's a song on youtube I think it's called the calmest song or this song will reduce your anxiety but I don't recomend it to listen to while driving because you'd probably get very sleepy.

Aww no worries @Jellyelephant I'm glad that the ambience music has been super helpful for you to write your dissertation to. I might be finding more youtube videos of these as I get these videos from Youtube and youtube channels which promote wellness and aim to use music to help people through the day.
