    @ellie2000 Coprolalia is an involuntary use of obscene language such as swearing repetitively. It's something that is sometimes seen in individuals with Tourettes Syndrome, but not always.

    There's lots of reason it takes a while to improve your mental health. It can take a while to recover from things in your life that your struggling with, which might be internal like a mental health disorder, or other things in your environment that might be stressful and putting extra strain on you. There's also other things we might not be able to control such as waiting lists for therapy being long on the NHS which may impact on your ability to access specific support.

    There are some things that may make people struggle to go outside such as agoraphobia or social anxiety or other mental health issues that makes going out in public very anxiety-inducing.

    I'm not sure specifically what centres do that specialise in the subject of SA but I assume it means they would be more knowledgable on the subject than the average person from doing courses and training and may be better equipped to help educate and support people that have gone through it and provide approaches strategies that may be more appropriate for that particular area.
