Sorry its a bit late but happy Fat Thursday!!
Those who don't know, in Poland (dunno if this is a thing elsewhere) today is a day called Tłusty Czwartek, which translates to 'Fat Thursday'. Its a day where you get to eat as much fat foods (mainly sweet stuff like donuts) without counting calories.
I've made a post about this last year but damn time goes fast.
So if you're reading this, have yourself a donut or something sweet - and enjoy it! (Even if it's not a Thursday at the time hehe)

Ooo this looks so cool and I think it's nice that in Poland you get to celebrate a day where you enjoy life and include a bit of sweetness into it too!. Speaking of donuts I love those ones actually and haven't had one in such a long time. I did though have a creme egg ice cream which was a treat from my mum (she said it was an early easter treat hahah , we both got ice cream eventhough I got a blocked nose and bad cold). Happy Fat Thursday everyone!
Also I don't know if ice cream counts haha, its mainly fatty foods like pastries and similar stuff. I don't make the rules, but you know what, I let that count! As long as you enjoyed it
Here are some other examples of the types of food we usually have: (my mum usually makes all of these besides the standard donuts)
Oponki
Small donuts made using white cheese and usually topped with icing sugar.
(In polish the word 'opony' means 'tires'. So the way I'd translate 'oponki' would be like saying 'small/cute tires' idk how to describe it better lol)
Faworki
Some kind of pastry that is twisted into itself, also usually topped with icing sugar. Very crunchy.
Spanish Donuts
Kind of like donut shaped churros. We usually have those with lemon icing, so they end up tasting quite sour. We didn't have these this year though.
@AnonymousToe It is a great name haha. Could also translate to Fatty Thursday lol, which I now realise might be even better! xD
I love these so much, I love how the oponki translate to basically 'cute/small tyres', they are like mini tyres. Imagine a donut car?. Ngl that would be awesome to have!. Probably not drivable though xd. I did though and my mum as well have lemon iced saltana buns on Friday so maybe that counted towards the sugar stuff.
YESSSSSSS a cop donut car!!!!!!!
