Yess, you heard it right!!! It's Christmas Recipes timeeeee!!!! <3🎄😋

If you haven't already guessed, This thread is for sharing all the yummy treats you make, or want to make this December! Even if it's just a recipe you wish to share, that looks yummy, or something you make each year - we would love to hear/see it :)

My plan this Christmas is definitely to make oreo truffles, these are super simple and something me and my friends have made everrryy year at Christmas time!
And the best part, all you need is 3 simple ingredients!!
-10 oreos (crushed)
-50g cream cheese
-melted chocolate of your choice!
(Oohhh and if you'd like to be fancy! Some Christmas sprinkles or a little Christmas design on top can make them super duper cute 🤭🎄🎉)

I'll have to share on this thread when I've made mine this year!!

We cannot wait to see and hear about all of the wonderful recipes you lovely people have ♡

@cc_ilaria Oreo truffles sound delicious! I also have a truffle recipe from my home economics class when I was at school - the one recipe that classes actually enjoyed 😅

    Chocolate Truffles

    Ingredients:
    • 21 Digestive biscuits
    • 75g butter
    • 75g Icing sugar
    • 45ml drinking chocolate/hot chocolate powder
    • 1 tin condensed milk
    • (Optional) 30ml chocolate vermicelli
    1. Place the biscuits into a plastic bag and crush with the end of the rolling pin.
    2. In the large bowl, cream together the margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
    3. Gradually add the drinking chocolate, mixing as you go.
    4. Stir in the condensed milk and crushed biscuits.
    5. Shape into small spheres.
    6. Roll in the chocolate vermicelli and then place into the paper cases.
    7. Refrigerate.

These recipes sound so delicious and tasty!!. I dont really have a recipe of my own but it's my family's mince pies which are very nice and tasty.

I think we use mincemeat, flour for the pastry, some cookie cutters, a muffin tin, butter and I like sugar on top to make them look like snow.

@CC_ilaria I love all homemade things and food. Though we did buy some mince pies the other as a treat from Morrisons the ones with sugar on top and they tasted so delicious. I love kicne pies because they are a mixture of sweet and savoury so it's the best of both worlds in a way.
