Scared I’m going to do something to harm myself. I can’t cope.

    why do you want to harm yourself? and what is it that you want to do? when I felt like this I used to specifically go up to my mum and give her the unsafe things I'd use and tell her 'please take them off me' so maybe do something like that? I know it's not easy but it could help

    Because.. I’m exhausted. Like I really cba anymore. I just wanna be gone.

    hand it to somebody trusted. please please don't do anything stupid. I know you're exhausted but you can't give up now. you're doing really well! just keep going. go to sleep early tonight, drink lots of water, do things you enjoy, take care of yourself as best as you can. if your thoughts get too overwhelming feel free to message me and I'll try my best to help :) you're not alone!

    I think I’m going to call Samaritans even though they’re calling me tomorrow. But I don’t know, no-one ‘bothers’ with me anymore, so I don’t understand.

    They don’t give a shit, when I self harm, they just let me carry on. When I ended up in hospital from a suicide attempt, they didn’t care.

    I'm so so sorry to hear that :( maybe they do care but just didn't know how to react? knowing your kid tried to off themself must be a lot. but even if they don't care then remember I care!! I know you mentioned your friends haven't been the most supportive but I'm sure you'll find some people someday who really do care. you just gotta keep going

    Hey folks, just dropping in to say the mod team made a few edits to this discussion. We removed the names of objects you can use to hurt yourself, just to avoid triggering others. :)

    @Blc_2004 I also wanted to acknowledge for everyone else that @TheMix has been in touch over DM to check in around your safety and whether you need any urgent support.

    If you ever do find yourself at breaking point like this - either with self-harm urges or suicidal thoughts - I'd really recommend reaching out to crisis services. They can get back to you more quickly with more specialised support than community members can, and you don't need to filter what you say when you speak to them. Here are those details:
