I've been sober from vaping for two months but it's getting harder. I'm so used to having it all the time and it was literally just something to do. Whenever I was bored, I'd just take a hit but now it's like okay what next? I hate sitting around and not really doing anything but I don't want to go to the gym more than twice or just watch the tele. I hate living in a generation that's so instantaneous and that's so needy for constant stimulation. Any advice on addiction?

it also helps me to have some sort of project i'm working on so that when the urges get bad and i feel like i'm just sitting around and being unproductive doing smth like sudoku i end up just thinking 'no xee u need to focus on ur project and not do smth stupid which u will regret' so for me that was writing a book (which i've been writing for 3 years and annoyingly still haven't finished editing). please try to remind yourself that two months is great and you're doing really well it obviously isn't gonna be easy so u should be really proud of urself, i'm proud of you!!
1. Find healthy alternatives, like exercise, reading, painting, playing an instrument, or spending time with friends and family.
2. Create a support system
3. Identify triggers: Recognize situations, emotions, or environments that trigger your desire to vape.
4. Celebrate milestones: Acknowledge and celebrate your achievements along the way. Set small goals and reward yourself when you reach them. This can help keep you motivated and reinforce the positive changes you're making.
This can take time and effort. If you find yourself struggling or experiencing intense cravings, don't hesitate to reach out for professional help. We're also here to support!
