Title of study: Adolescent's Views of Depression and Recovery
Do you feel that you are experiencing depression? Are you between 12 and 17 years old? Would you like to take part in a research study? If you're a teenager, we would like to understand what depression means to you, and how you understand recovery.
What would I be doing?
- If you wanted to take part, you would be asked to have a conversation with one of the researchers either over the phone or video call
- Conversations will be audio recorded
- No one will be able to identify you from the research
Why might I want to take part?
- Although the results might not affect you directly, we hope that this research will improve awareness for mental health services of how teenagers make sense of depression and recovery
- You will get a £10 voucher as a thank you for taking part

If you are under 16 then we will need your parent or carer/guardian to agree that you can take part and we will need their contact details for this.
Researchers: Megan Dixon (Trainee Clinical Psychologist), Dr Anna Tickle (Clinical Psychologist), Dr Faye Devlin (Clinical Psychologist), Dr Rohan Naidoo (Clinical Psychologist).

I'm guessing it wouldn't be able to be done over chatwee as its not something the mix is physically involved with , there just promoting this on behalf of a student who has contacted them @Past User
What you could do @Past User is sign up to take part, then if there's a space for you to ask questions or contact the researcher directly, ask them if they can provide a text-based option. They might be able to offer that even if it's not explicitly mentioned in the ad.
