Tl;dr: it doesn't really mean anything and wasn't added intentionally. We're going to remove it if possible to avoid future confusion.
Also I realised there is a last active field which kinda bothers me to be honest. I visit this platform often and read the posts without always having the time to reply so I don't really want anyone so see when I was last active as it might make them think I ignored their post. If I want someone to know I've read their post I will simply react to it. It would be nice if there was an option to turn this off but if not then that's fine, I can live with it.
Thanks so much for sharing this feedback with us, we really appreciate it.
The technology that sits behind the Boards is actually developed by an external company, and so there are some limits to the fields that we're able to hide/remove from profile pages unfortunately. We're speaking with our developers at the moment about removing the points field from your profiles and hopefully they'll be able to make that happen soon, but to be completely transparent I think it's important to say that there is a limit to how much we can customize what fields show up on the profile page. As Morgan said, you do have the option to make your profile private, but I can hear that you don't want to do that, which is totally okay.
In terms of the last active field, I also really hear what you're saying there. We wouldn't ever want you to feel under pressure to reply or respond, though. How you engage with this place is totally your call, based on how you're feeling and the levels of energy that you've got at the time, and I think the folxs here will all be understanding of that.
Thanks again for the feedback legend
Cheers,
Harry
