I saw it announced on ITV News earlier today, and I was in shock and sadness after it was revealed Queen Elizabeth II had passed away. :heartbreak: You could see the shock in the newsreaders face as the headline came in. What an incredible lady she was. I really feel sorry for poor Harry though, he must be so distraught that he didn't get there in time to say farewell to the Queen, wish I could give the guy a hug. :pensive:

Rest in Peace Queen Elizabeth II, you'll never be forgotten. My thoughts are with her family, pets, friends, and everyone else who knew her in person. <3

I feel sadder than I thought I would. What an amazing, strong woman. Rest in peace Queen Elizabeth, my thoughts with her family they must be devastated.

Google put up a memorial ribbon in her memory on the search bar homepage. It's going to feel really strange seeing the upcoming changes now that Queen Elizabeth II has passed. :anguished:

I went along to watch the funeral procession in central London. I went to Hyde Park first then ended up walking down to South Kensington and seeing the procession with cars in Brompton Road because so many roads were closed off. I was not a fan of the Queen or the Royal family. But I felt it sad for the Queen dying and sad for her close friends and relatives who had lost a loved one. So I decided to go along and mourn her departure. Her death also marked the end of an era. An era that saw many changes in Britain.
