    Calling someone a Karen is now seen as an insult, here is what it says on the internet:

    slang term for an obnoxious, angry, entitled, and often racist middle-aged white woman who uses her privilege to get her way or police other people’s behaviours.

    Therefore, if you are calling your peer support worker a Karen after knowing the meaning it may come across as being rude. If you didn't know the meaning when you called her a Karen, it may be worth telling her that so she knows you didn't mean to be rude :)
