Excessive handwashing

I wash my hands excessively and my parents were really angry with me. I don't feel like I can stop doing that. I can't have help because I was told that the problem is not serious enough. The healthcare system only cares about the most serious cases. You are either dead when you have no capacity or your problem is not serious.

    Hi @Kate_20 I’m sorry to hear this and with your parents being angry at you, sounds really tough. Can I ask who has told you that this isn’t serious enough for help? There are lots of different avenues to getting help, some through the NHS or through other services - maybe we could try and find something that would suit you and take you seriously?
