We've teamed up with Galop to run session on anti-LGBT+ hate crime, open to people who are part of the LGBT+ community or allies
Galop is a leading LGBT+ anti abuse charity. The session includes a short presentation followed by interactive exercises and a discussion on anti-LGBT+ hate crime in the UK, the law, impacts, intersectional barriers to accessing support, and best practices for supporting students experiencing Anti-LGBT+ Hate Crime.
What?
We will focus on approaching incidents from a victim’s perspective, while also understanding the implications for a whole community.
