International Womens Day - Who inspires you?

Today is International Woman's Day - a day to shine a light on some of the amazing things women across the world have done to get us where we are today, but also to acknowledge the steps we still need to take in order to create an equal society for every gender.

What a great way to celebrate the day by sharing a woman who inspires you! This could be anyone - Michelle Obama, your mum, a friend, the postwoman - anyone!

I'm personally inspired by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (or AOC for short!). She's an American politician, but what really inspires me, is how she uses her plaform to share support and information to people across the world. She's also not afraid to speak up for herself or other women and will often take part in protests or events to help other women have their voices heard too <3

    I cannot say anyone inspired me because it would seem insulting to them now as I am a failure. I ruined my future and I can no longer go back to those who inspired me.

    I feel like any women in STEM inspire me, it feels so great to see or to work in a department that consists of mainly women

    This is a great idea! Personally, I am inspired by a YouTuber and TikTok creator called themadivlog she is a massive advocate for mental health through social media and makes awareness videos. This is something I want to do as I grow up.

    Sometimes things don't work out the way we planned, but that doesn't mean our future is ruined, we might just need to try another way to get there.

    @Past User Thanks, but most people who are not from TheMix would think of me as a failure. I hope I could find another way but I am no longer me because I am forever broken. Sorry for ruining the atmosphere on the board though.
