Hi Ellie, that sounds hard. Do you phone or video call your brother at all?

It’s not your job to keep anyone sane but yourself, but I know it can be hard not to feel responsibility for our families because we care about them so much. Do you feel like it’s your job to keep your family sane?

    Hello Ellie,

It must be really difficult to know your brother is struggling but you live too far to support him in person. Do you feel that when you message, you are able to help him at all, even if it's just in a small way?
Perhaps you could both share some of your personal coping strategies to support each other?
