What does Christmas look like for you?

Title says it all: traditions aside, what does your Christmas look like?

I like to forego some of the usual Christmas traditions and have the most stress-free day I can. I tend not to do gifts and, for food, I tend to go with something like an oven pizza.
All behaviour is a need trying to be met.
The truth resists simplicity.

    @Mike

Pizza sounds amazing. It sounds like a lovely Christmas.

My Christmas will be a bit different this year as I am working, but we normally just take it slow on Christmas day, see some family, have some yummy food.

Spend it with family. Eat some food and play games basically

It’ll be different this year but usually we would go to a midnight mass which is basically just church in the early hours of the morn. Then the family usually stays at our house, we eat food & play games and FaceTime family who live abroad.

Think we’re having a quiet one this year though!

Always do christmas traditions, no matter how old we are. We do a takeaway on Christmas Eve, Steve the elf delivers new PJs (without fail) and we watch a film. In the morning we do a family breakfast, do gifts, followed by food, this year however as we are all older and don't really do toys anymore, we are planning an afternoon at the beach instead

Preparing gifts for love ones! I don't do it every year, but giving them gifts and decorating the boxes are fun!

Christmas is normally a big thing in my house!
Christmas eve we always watch home alone and eat Sausage casserole for dinner

    Watch polar express before bed.
Me and my brother would stay up and listen to old Christmas tunes while we wrapped presents or played animal crossing lol

Christmas day would be up early like 6 lol get a hot chocolate and watch snowman. Presents would be opened when everyone woke up(sometimes 10!)
Followed by Christmas dinner at 13:00 and party food in the evening.

Its going to be a quiet one this year, I'm with my partner and his parents probably just be a quiet simple day in. Hopefully can ring the family! :

Our Christmas day is almost always the same, we all sit together and have a lovely Christmas dinner cooked by my dad, turkey, potatoes, pigs in blankets, roasted veg, the works! While we eat we always watch A Muppet's Christmas Carol, I mentioned it in another thread but that movie always fills me up with Christmas cheer!

Then we all open our presents together, usually I have to rush my parents to start because otherwise they fall asleep. Then my parents usually go and have a Christmas day nap while I
do my own thing. And finally we all have turkey sandwiches together in the evening while watching whatever's on TV. Very quiet and low-key Christmas but it's always lovely!

Yeah it's a rule in our house that we can't have presents until after Christmas dinner lol! No idea why that's just our tradition I guess.
