Hello everyone!!

I'm sorry if theres already one of these but I can't see one. I know christmas isn't a fun time of year for everyone, and this year will be especially hard for people because of the Covid pandemic. 

So if you need any hugs this christmas you can post in this thread keeping the guidelines for the main hug thread in mind❤️

    My biggest fear this Christmas is unknowingly taking covid to my mum's and causing illness at her house. Im so anxious about going home because of this

    I'm in mixed emotions with Christmas like it's exciting but then I remember I'm not at home and get a bit down, then I do something to cheer up and I'm festive again, then I'm down 🤣

    @Past User I think that’s understandable especially because it’s your first Christmas since you moved away, I think that first time is always gonna be tough. When my sister is away for Christmas we always FaceTime her on the day (I know it’s absolutely not the same but it’s a little something that might make you feel just that bit closer to home) <3

    Christmas is a stressful time for me and doesn't really feel merry anymore. :(

    I feel like it should be pinned so it's easy to find. As I struggled to find it the first time because there was so many threads!  @The Mix is it possible to be pinned please?

    It feels like my family aren't really a family. Instead it feels like we are just a group of people living together under the same roof. My mum gets very stressed towards Christmas as my dad and my sister never bother trying to help out with Christmas dinner and money has been a struggle this year as well. My mum said that if my dad and my sister don't start helping out around the house soon that it will just be Christmas dinner for me and my mum as I at least try and help out.

    Aww I’m really glad this has been pinned now, thank you so much @GreenTea for asking about this. I think this thread is really important, not everyone enjoys Christmas and having a support thread near the top wil remind people that that’s ok too.

    Idk but xmas seems gonna be boring dis year 
    Not gonna be having christmas meals and that

    Haven't even got xmas tree up doesn't feel very xmassy
    Its not like i really got much last xmas or previous xmas is just like dead and only for the kids
    Wont be seeing the rest of family (other than parents) either due to argument tho covid is another factor
    Maybe will get xmas snacks or whatever

    Work will have zoom party or whatever lol tho
    I been doin advent online tho

    A week before Christmas and get the news that my dad has cancer :’(

    @*BananaMonkey* I'm so sorry to hear that, it's awful news at any time of year but but especially at Christmas. I hope you're family are all doing ok as you can be and looking after yourselves and each other ❤️

    Sending big hugs to anyone who needs them (or even those who don't!) 

    No matter what your Christmas is going to look like this year, its probably going to be a bit different. It might be hard because of the people who are with you or the people who aren't. 

    But regardless of all of that, just know you are so valued and important to everyone here! 

    This won't last forever <3
