    Hey and welcome!

Sleeping used to be a problem for me, and the biggest thing that helped is routine. Go to bed the same time every night, and do the same things before you go to bed every night.

You could also search for some sleeping tips on the internet, see what works for other people and try it and see what works for you. Some people like reading before bed, or having a night light, or using one of those pillows that always stays cool- trial and error everything you think is worth a shot.

If nothing seems to be helping it might be worth talking to your GP

    Take care!
Ok thanks here will be good support for me and I will try and go to go to bed 9:30 pm each night listen to music on radio

I am sorry you are struggling @happycatcrazy maybe you can write your thoughts and feelings in a diary before bed and put it somewhere only you can see.
Also, you can try reading a book.
And take all devices off 1 hour before bed
    Hope this helps <3

    Also love this thread.

    • Try having a hot drink at night time (like a calming drink, not a caffeine drink)
    • Bath before bed
    • Read
    • meditate (there's apps like headspace)
    • put classic FM on the radio at a low level
    • have a bottle of water beside your bed in case you wake up during the night
    • keep your room tidy
    • only use your bed for sleeping and don't associate it with anything else
    • make your bed whenever you get up and keep your bedding fresh and cosy
    • try a hot water bottle or stuffed animal
    • sleep with a window open to avoid the room getting stuffy
    • close your eyes and count backwards from 100

They might not work for you, you gotta experiment. And sometimes you'll go through stages where nothing works.

Can't agree with @Aidan enough though with the routine. It's important (and something I'm incredibly shit at).

I hope something on that list works for you. Otherwise you can go to doctors and try to get sleeping pills prescribed.

    Best of luck
