@errrin I love this thread and I think it will help a lot of people!

For me, when Im using music as an escape I like to listen to instrumental music. I can create images in my mind based on what I hear and there are no lyrics to suggest any kind of through - it's freeing in a way.

At night when I can't sleep I like to put a podcast on, Usually one ive already heard so that I don't have to focus on it too much and then I can drift off. Sometimes I find I can't sleep because I'm thinking too much so listening to someone else gives me the relief I need 😊

I like to listen to anything but the Cinematic Orchestra, they're amazing. I also like movie soundtracks especially The Theory of Everything and the Harry Potter series!
