I think some pubs let people over 16 have half a pint of cider if they’re with their parents and it’s with a meal

It's half a cider or small glass of wine, with a meal and an adult.
A lot of pubs wont even allow that due to licensing etc.

Yeah I think it’s wine, beer or cider with a meal if you’re over 16. Interesting that you both say it’s only a half as I’ve ordered (multiple) full pints before and never been questioned as a 17 year old. I do look much older though so maybe that comes into it

Yeah its usually half a pint with food and an adult not everywhere allows this it depends on the pub.

Most do not underage drink, some don't even let underage people in lol

Yh a lot of my local pubs don't allow it. A lot of the pubs wont allow under 18s to even order at the bar.

In a pub down south,  they have the floor downstairs you come into and it's the family space and you can't go upstairs to use to the toilets or order at the bar if under 18, you have to be taken by an adult.
