    So today’s tasks (mentions Mother’s Day in case anyone is finding that hard atm).

    I’m up and changed, have to get food then have to go to the shop to get mum a card, chocolates and wine for Mother’s Day. I want a specific wine that they only sell in tesco so will have to head down there shortly.

    I’m supposed to be hoovering too, but will see how I feel when I get back as I am pretty tired and I’m going out tonight for my sister’s birthday dinner. We’re at a really nice sit in chinese restaurant, I literally cannot wait!

    @independent that's very kind of you getting your mum a present. Yh just see how you feel about hoovering. Chinese restaurant sounds exciting, hope you enjoy it, you deserve it for all the jobs you do around the house, hope you have a great time.

    @Redemption yeah she’s under a lot of stress atm at work so I think she will need the edible and drinkable present a lot right now :joy:

    I’m absolutely buzzing for the chinese, they do that duck and pancake thing so we’re definitely definitely getting that! And rosé mmmm

    fair enough. i used to have tiktok but i deleted it because it got too much for me. i think i deleted it in april of 2023 or something, eight months before i came onto the mix. speaking of which when i came back onto the mix i received my first anniversary badge. do you think ill be able to get my 10th anniversary badge if i continue to my active on here?

    @eylah @toffuna101 social media can be like that, it’s why I try and limit scrolling tbh.

    Shopping done, Mother’s Day presents acquired (plus a little treat for me of course). I’ve got the afternoon to chill now so blasting tunes, especially busy woman by Sabrina carpenter and little dreaming by Cian Ducrot

    yeah, its good to find something educational or interesting because if you just spend time scrolling on random memes then that time wont really be valuable. you only have one life (well, unless if you reincarnate). @independent_

    Reincarnation is a whole other debate @toffuna101 :joy: but you’re so right on the rest. I won’t sign up for any of these new social media things (think threads etc) because I don’t need any more time sucking apps in my life.
