Hi

It's getting more difficult. I can't stand eating, breathing, humming, stirring in a cup and other sounds. I stay in my bed in the morning and wait until my parents are gone so I can eat in silence. I eat snacks when my parents eat them, even if I don't want to. I'm avoiding people because it drives me mad. I just sit in my bedroom most of the time but that's no way to live.

Does anyone have any suggestions that can help to 'ignore' the sounds?

    Thanks hun <3

Usually listening to music works if I shut out all the surrounding sounds, but it got me into trouble before. At my internship they said it was not respectful to wear headphones even after I told them why I use them (only when I needed to concentrate).

I avoid situations because I can latch out sometimes. The link you send advised not to do that so maybe I can try doing the breathing exercises conscientiously to see if it takes down the anger.
