It's not your fault if you can't remember something, so it's unfair if people are having a go at you for this. If this happens again, perhaps just let them know that you're really trying to remember but somethings do slip our minds - and that's normal. Hope you're doing okay
The strength of someone's memory is slightly out of our control but we can all do things to train our memory to be better. Have you heard Derren Brown speak about memory?
