    Hey Olivia,

Welcome to The Mix community, really glad to have you here, hopefully you find this place helpful, and we can support you through this.

You've taken a brave step to reach out here so that's positive. Have you told anyone about what happened to you? Other than childline and us here, your family, a teacher, gp?

The Mix have a super helpful article about sexual assault https://www.themix.org.uk/crime-and-safety/victims-of-crime/was-it-sexual-assault-9145.html

could be worth a read if you get a chance

The article I liked above suggests talking about things, so maybe exploring some counselling options or talking on here about what you're going through, only if you want too and feel ready to do that. No pressure

Also https://rapecrisis.org.uk/ is another good website that may have some more information for you,

You're not alone in this, we are here for you.

Sorry to hear this Olivia but glad you're reaching out x
Are you receiving any support with it?
    from friends, family,  counsellors etc?

There are many services here at the mix you can find on the front page and here: https://www.themix.org.uk/get-support/speak-to-our-team

Support chat and general chat also runs from Sundays to Thursdays at 20:00(8pm)  till 21:30(9:30 pm)

Does anyone know, could you get support from school or sign up for counselling?

We're all here for you x

    Hi @Olivia0811

I'm so sorry to hear that this has happened to you. Being open and talking about it is the first step in recovery so I'm so glad that you have reached out.

I think the advice from @*BananaMonkey* and @Past User is great and I really hope that you find The Mix community useful. We are all here for you and will support you through this.

Safeline do offer free counselling for those who have experienced sexual assault so they may be an organisation to look in to: https://www.safeline.org.uk/what-we-do/counselling-therapy/

The Samaritans are also great if you're struggling and need someone to talk to. They're available 24/7 and your calls are free: https://www.samaritans.org/how-we-can-help/support-and-information/if-youre-having-difficult-time/

    Hey Olivia,

Welcome to the boards. I'm so sorry that you had to go through this :(

It sounds like this has really affected you. I just wanted to echo what's been said above, and say that we're here to support you. Feel free to talk some more about how you're feeling, if you want to and when you're ready. We'd like to listen and do our best to help x

    Sending big hugs <3
