    Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

    Crying for me means fear, to cry is to lose control, it represents anger, you cry and the pain gets worse. 
    I cry and I break.
    I stayed loyal and kept a secret to someone who hurt me, who destroyed my views of myself, my body, made me distrust everything in this world.

    You went through something really traumatic, and I can hear how much it affected you - it makes perfect sense that your views of yourself are destroyed and that you distrust everything.
