Please Don't Judge Me

I came across this whilst clearing out my computer of all the useless things from school. I originally wrote it for Young Carers Awareness day Last year ! - i would of still been in school hence the reason for the lines such as i'm late , or i haven't done my homework <3

 Please Don't judge me

‘I want to come out, but I really can’t’

‘sorry I can’t come my brothers play up’

‘sorry I running late’

These are some of the things I may say

But please don’t judge me

I’ve got a lot on my plate.

‘I haven’t done my homework’

‘Sorry I’ve left my book at home’

‘Sorry I’m late for the third time this week’

These are some of the things I may say

But please don’t judge me

I’ve got a lot on my plate

You see from the outside

I just look like another teen

That doesn’t bother, that doesn’t care

But please don’t judge me

I’ve got a lot of my plate.

That being caring for my

13-year-old nephew

Who has special Needs

Sometimes all you need is one person to believe in you , for you to begin to believe in yourself.

This is a really well written poem @Millie2787 thanks for sharing <3
Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤
