Opening up to your siblings vs parents

Hey everyone,

This month we're doing a few discussions threads all about siblings! How have you benefited from opening up to your brothers and/or sisters about things you felt you couldn’t discuss with your parents?

Look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

I probably open up to my mum more than my sibling, I don't know if that's possibly a gender thing as he's an older brother! We're quite open as a family anyway but yeah I'd definitely say I am more likely to go to my mum than other members of my fam.
