We would like anyone that is affected by this law, to share your thoughts. You could be:
- Someone who is transgender, or questioning your gender identity
- A friend, relative or partner of someone questioning their gender or who is transgender
Have a great weekend!

This is a good question.
The Government has been clear that the proposals outlined within this document have the aim of reforming the Gender Recognition Act (2004). When it comes to safe spaces, prisons, changing rooms and such, those transitioning will still be protected under the Equality Act (2010), which isn't going to be changing. As a result, we are focusing our responses on those young people who are personally transitioning and those close to them, who will be directly affected by the GRA.
Not sure how well I explained that - does that make sense?
