Hello I have spoken to my mum and some other people about wanting to do my own organisation and or social group for young adults aged from 18-30 or 18-35 because I want to be able to find some more easier ways for me to meet older men and friends in their mid to late 20s to early 30s as I am now 20 years of age. I really need some help and advice on how would I be able to do something like that please?

Since vBulletins forums have become somewhat outdated, you could consider setting up a Tapatalk forum. These can be made private, or left so can be viewed public.

Tapatalk hosting is well described by Wikipedia here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tapatalk

    Tapatalk's website:  https://www.tapatalk.com/

They have this support forum for their users: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/tapatalksupport/

Administrator / Moderator tools are much easier to use than previous hosts such as CrowdGather, Invision and the late lamented Zetaboards.

PM me if you need further help though I'm not a teckie by any imagination. I wish you good luck but remember, setting up a forum is easy, but running one is quite something else!

    Best,
    Mandyx

    Hey Sholay!  :)

It really depends on what you want to achieve from this and what approach you take.

Floxy has mentioned a very good site you could use there's also discord,  and whatsapp groups,  these are great if you're looking to branch out.

If you want something local and close to home you can create a group get a nice description and aim going and you can put up a bunch of posters around town.

When I and my good friend created the LGBT youth group around our area we mainly had meetings in certain places like a Mexican restaurant and we all met up for dinner,  McDonald's, the park, free places.

As it grew it got bigger and now it has a designated building for meet-ups ect and youth workers :)

Aw i think its great when people are so passionate to even think about starting something like this. I think Laine’s insight is quite good. And like you can always invite people who then they invite their friends and then the group keeps getting bigger.

And there things like Facebook has group pages you can make for these sorts. Like awhile ago i joined a public Facebook group page, of a group of people who go running together in my area - it said “everyone welcome” and i thought its super cute how they have a group like that - so i added myself to it. Not sure whether ill go to one of their runs yet though because not sure about the age of t & think I’d be quite young to join compared to others (thats just judging from pictures on the page). But thas what popped into my head after seeing your thread. So maybe you could make something like that with the specific age.  Like an activity which would interest others and then lots can join?😊

I wish you all the best with whatever you decide
“And when they look at you, they won't see everything you've been through. They won't see the **** that turned to scars that began to fade with time. They won't see the heartbreaking things that shook up and changed your entire world. They won't know how many tears you cried or even what it was you were crying about. They won't see how strong you had to be because you had no other choice. What they will see though is how compassionate you are because you experienced pain. What they will see is how kind you are because you experienced how cruel the world is. What they will see is how good you are because you've seen how bad things or people can be. The difference between you and your experiences are who you choose to be, despite everything that could have turned you cold and unkind. You are the good the world needs and the best of us.” ~ Kirsten Corley
