Should The Site provide support via social media?

Hi there,
Currently on the site we have many types of different support we can offer young people. However we sometimes receive messages on our social media profiles in which users are asking for help. Do you guys think that social media would be a good way to provide support? Are there different ways in which we can help you guys more i.e replying to messages through Facebook/Twitter.
Feel free to discuss any new suggestions which you think can help in the comments.
